The Oklahoma Department of Insurance now requires that agents must be contracted and have an active appointment in Oklahoma before writing business. This applies for all applications signed and dated on or after November 1, 2019.
If you’re not approved to sell in Oklahoma or if you’ve recently obtained an Oklahoma license, you’ll need to request an appointment.
