Now Effective: Contract Agreement Changes – Chargebacks

Please note the Accidental Death Benefit commission chargeback provisions have been restructured to align more similarly with industry standards. These changes are effective on all new ADB policies.

  • A lapse that occurs within the first 6 months (180 days) of an ADB policy issue date will cause a chargeback of 100% of all commissions paid, including earned commissions.
  • A lapse that occurs after the first 6 months (months 7-12) of an ADB policy issue date will be charged back 50% of all commissions paid, including earned commissions.
  • A lapse that occurs after the ADB policy has been in force 12 months will have NO chargeback.
