Texas Legislative Digest, Issue 17, 2021
As the Legislature races to beat end-of-session deadlines, it received good news – the state comptroller now estimates there will be an additional $725 million that can be applied toward the 2022-23 biennium budget. The revised estimate now projects $113.88 billion in revenue available for general-purpose spending.
