  • Access secure records, such as benefit and plan documents and their Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements
  • Link to health and wellness resources

Members received an email telling them about BAM’s new services.

Note: BAM enhancements for Blue Cross Medicare Advantage members were completed late last year.

BCBSIL Increases Access to COVID-19 Vaccines

Our Morgan Park and South Lawndale Blue Door Neighborhood Center (BDNC) locations are being used by Access Community Health Network (ACCESS) to deliver COVID-19 vaccinations. This Federally Qualified Health Center is working to help residents in underserved neighborhoods hardest hit by the pandemic.

ACCESS patients are some of the most vulnerable in the Morgan Park and South Lawndale greater communities. By extending COVID-19 vaccinations to BDNCs, ACCESS can accommodate patients with flexible hours and easy public transportation access. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) doesn’t schedule or distribute vaccines. However, this collaboration is one way BCBSIL supports the health, safety and well-being of its members, providers and communities during the pandemic.
