There has been an update to Anthem’s DSNP verification line. As of Wednesday, July 10th, agents calling into DSNP verification line will be prompted to input the potential member’s zip code into an IVR prior to reaching a DSNP validation agent. It is crucial that the member’s zip code be provided to ensure that the call is routed to a representative that has access to that specific state Medicaid portal. If an invalid zip code is provided, the call will be routed to a general queue which will prolong the call. Please encourage your agents to comply with this IVR prompt by inputting the zip code of the possible sale, NOT their own agent zip code.
