The 2021 AHIP Course (Part 1 of the Medicare Curriculum) will not be available after June 17 at 11:59 p.m. CST.
On Monday June 21 at 10 a.m. CST, the 2022 AHIP Course will become available.
As of Wednesday July 7, the 2022 AHIP Course will be combined with the 2021 and 2022 BCBS tasks to provide a dual-year curriculum assignment.
Producers seeking to complete the 2021 plan year tasks will be assigned the dual-year curriculum to satisfy both 2021 and 2022.

Why are OSBs important?
Many Humana Medicare Advantage plans include routine dental, vision and fitness coverage. To help customers manage their costs, Humana offers a broad range of optional supplemental benefits (OSBs) for an additional monthly premium. Learn more about Humana OSBs here. Note that a plan can have one or more OSBs attached.
Having supplemental benefits attached to a Humana MA plan can be a really important benefit, so this Marketplace feature gives you the tools to help more people get enrolled in a great plan for them!

Who qualifies for this SEP?
Effective January 1, 2021, an SEP exists for individuals affected by a disaster or other emergency declared by a Federal, state or local government entity who were unable to, and did not make an election during another valid election period. This includes both enrollment and disenrollment elections.
Individuals are eligible for this SEP if they:
The SEP starts as of the date the declaration is made, the incident start date or, if different, the start date identified in the declaration, whichever is earlier. The SEP ends two (2) full calendar months following the end date identified in the declaration or, if different, the date the end of the incident is announced, whichever is later.

Enrollments made pursuant to this SEP are effective the first of the month following the receipt of the enrollment request. For enrollment requests where more than one enrollment effective date is possible, agents will need to determine the applicant’s desired effective date.
This SEP should never be used as a marketing tool to promote MA or PDP sales. Agents should not be actively marketing this SEP, but rather, be aware that it is available in case they are approached by someone who believes they have missed an election period due to the weather related incident.

Both sections must be completed by all individual producers and sub-producers including agency principals. Producers and sub producers must complete all courses in order to be deemed certified to sell 2022 MAPD/PDP plans. Sub-producers are only deemed certified once the agency principal has completed his/her individual and agency certification tasks

HCSC has launched its new appointment platform and is accepting appointments again!
The process for agents to request an appointment with HCSC has not changed; only the platform on which agents complete their appointment application has changed.
When GoHealth has processed an appointment request, the agent will receive an email from producer_service_center@hcsc.net with the subject line of “Onboarding Invitation.” The email will contain a URL, user ID and a temporary password to begin the appointment process.
